Animal Welfare is human welfare - concern for animal welfare is simply a part of the broad spectrum of concerns for humanity itself (including slavery, slaughter, sex discrimination etc). Bloody entertainment such as bear baiting, dog fights, bull fights, cock fights though abolished still continue. Such violent entertainment will have an adverse effect on children.
